It’s exciting seeing the vision to grow Axcel over the next year—especially KMK Optometry!
We noticed a couple things had 5-month development times scoped out.
Specifically, AI-driven CE compliance tracking—renewal alerts—and auto CE credit recommendations given the license states and areas of specialty.
Within a weekend, we were able to run a swarm of AI agents that pulled the compliance training requirements across all 50 states.

All 50 states.
No regulatory scavenger hunt.
Every summary links back to its official board, administrative code, or government source.
California
The total rises from 40 to 50 hours for TPA-certified optometrists.
Board-approved optometric continuing education.
TPA-certified ODs need 50 total hours, including 35 hours in diagnosis, treatment, and management of ocular disease.
TPG- or TLG-certified ODs need 10 glaucoma hours; these are included within the 35 ocular-disease hours.
With all 50 states indexed, it would be trivial then to build an alerting system around it.
We also put together an AI-assisted credit recommendation provider given the locations and areas of specialty.

Prioritize glaucoma and ocular-disease education that can support multiple clinical buckets.
Reserve time for state-specific training in TX.
Ranked first because it matches your stated practice focus.
Evaluate for overlapping clinical buckets across CA + TX.
Keep jurisdiction-specific mandates separate and verify each approval.
